Aman is a pseudonym for Harry McDonald, a local artist with an overwhelming love of nature. Born on the rugged coast of Oregon, Aman spent his early years embraced by rivers, trees, the sea: and beautiful landscapes of the north coast. He moved to the valley in 1985. In addition to easel painting Aman has painted murals in Durango, Colorado, and also in the Jungle World Building in the Bronz Zoo in New York City.
